I'd like to say thank you to a Hotel Manager who upgraded us and turned a two day stay into a magical holiday. What is an appropriate gift?

I've sent a gift package (with munchies) at holiday time.

Well, to people that treated me well in US, I have given Belgium chocolates. Does not have the same effect in Europe, especially Brussels. Depending on which country, Fortnum and Mason does some really nice teas and baskets and they would ship. Fuchon is another nice one for food for France, albit fairly pricy...
