Scenic plans to cross market the flight, much as they have done with their service to Merced.
At Merced they have sold tickets to Vegas tourists who also want to visit Yosemite. Into Visalia they plan to sell tickets to Vegas tourists to visit Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks. The Park Service plans to start a Sequoia/Kings Canyon shuttle bus from Visalia next year, so Visalia will become the main gateway for visitors arriving by air, car, bus or train to the 2 parks

Has anyone flown Scenic lately. They were a convenient airline for me when I was doing work in Modesto & Turlock. I flew 2 North Las Vegas, NV (VGT)- Merced, CA (MCE) round trips about a year ago. Planes were small, but the service was great. I have not needed that itinerary since then, but have a buddy who needs to get down from that area to LAS to take advantage of the Airtran Wendys deal to fly to the Bahamas. How is the service lately?
