Was connecting through DCA last night with all of the storms. Misconnected on the 6:45 shuttle to Boston and was put on the 9. When I asked about endorsing my ticket over to Delta, was told that US no longer endorses tickets unless it's a full fare or something of that regard. Told incorrectly that the next DL flight was due to leave after the 9 (they had a delayed flight that left at 7:50).

9 gets pushed back to 10 because crew is still in LGA. Then they announce that crew is only legal until 10:20 so the flight will probably be cancelled and people may want to start calling cust svc to be rebooked next morning.

At that point I go to a CS agent and ask about being endorsed over to DL. Told again no "because it's weather."

Walk up to the ticket counter and ask again and get a "sure."

About 5 people managed to get endorsed over (even though the DL flight was booked to 3/50). 3 or 4 bought new tickets to get on the flight.

I'm not sure what ended up happening to the 9, but the inconsistency of information is quite frustrating.

I will add though that US has been great with delays that have been happening almost every day this summer in the NE.

Now, if they could only get their systems to work with 016 tickets issued by United...
