I tried searching this forum. If I overlooked a pertinent thread ~~ please direct me :)
We have Dish Network and their PVR. Recently, we have saved/protected a few things on there that we want to copy onto DVD to keep permanently.
To me, this sounds simple -- but I don't know how to do it :( Hubby (techi at heart) thinks it must be complicated because the DVD-R in the PC and the PVR don't connect directly and are talking different formats :confused:
It's not something I'm going to do every week, but it would be nice to know how to save something off of there.
Hey, I have a digital video camera. Maybe I should film myself a copy LOL :D
So, if someone has a somewhat 'painless' process for this, I'd appreciate it. I read something in this forum the other day about a 'card', but I don't remember the name of the card of it it is what we need.
I'm 20 minutes from FRYS, an eBay-aholic and I also have a 10% coupon for BUY.COM I'm itching to use :p
