I was in LA over the weekend and saw the Sunday LA Times article "Bargains for the Eagle-Eyed..." by Laura Bly. It mentions Flyertalk.com in a paragraph about the United snafu on Europe in January.
I did not see this posted anywhere else but it is taking me a little bit to figure out the new format.
Article is available free here:

Or by searching for "flyertalk" on the LA Times (www.latimes.com) web site.
You have to register for the site first, but that's free.
Note: after a certain amount of time (I don't know how long) older stories aren't available free.. you have to pay for them.
There's a flyertalk reference in another Laura Bly article from March (I wonder if she's a lurker?)
