The Independence Air load factor for June was at 76.2%, per the press release on the website.

The question is, will it be enough to keep them in the air past the end of this year.

I think so, they are starting to go after smaller markets. Ten flights a day to ORD was a waste. They need to go after the casual travel, that only cares about price, in the smaller markets that they serve. No one in a magor city will list them as their first choice. But in CRW and the smaller cities they are great.

Their ORD flights sell out all the time. People in big markets want cheap travel too. You also need to keepin mind that people in smaller cities such ash CRW want to go to big cities such as Chicago.

The catch here is making money.
CRW-IAD-ORD is 816 miles
CRW-ORD is 416 miles.
RJs are expensive - and connecting through IAD makes the flights nearly twice as long, further increasing the costs. Low fares are nice. But sustainable low fares are even nicer.

places with direct flights that indy flies to have competetive fares with indy on those direct routes, so , i dont know if other cities like Crw have service to ORd or not, but here indy isnt getting much of that pie.

They've also ramped up service in CLT and BOS to add A319s on those routes because demand was so high.
