Travel Technology - Nikon Coolpix S1

Believe it or not, I never upgraded my digital camera as newer and smaller versions come out. I still have one of the original Sony digitals from 1999, which, needless to say, does not see the light of day because of its size.
Anybody have the Nikon Coolpix S1? Can you recommend it?
If you were in the market for the best possible digital under 400 bucks, which would you recommend, if not the S1?

Thanks, Aileron!
I think I am going to buy this camera. I really do not have the need for a professional-type camera...so this should suit my needs.
You definitely suggest an extended warranty?

I have just upgraded to my second Nikon camera (Coolpix 4600, I stay behind the curve because of price). I have never had any issues. It even got left in a boat overnight during a storm. While it wasn't sitting in water it was wet. I let it dry for a half day and it started right up. Both cameras have been to Asia and back.
Only issue is night shots. Read the book on night shots so you can get the best out of your camera. Otherwise enjoy!
Ask yourself whether in two years time if a significantly better camera won't be around for only $200 or so? Extended warranties are often a scam and are not cost efficient, especially when manufacturers warranties are often a year and certain cc's already double that to two years.
I have the 5200 and love it. Great shots in a small package.
