Hi,
I'm new here and don't know if this is the place for this message, but it does have to do with technology.
I was trying to make a first class reservation on USAir.com for a flight from PHL to LAX in both December and February. If I tried FC restricted I got a message that US Airways Express doesn't have first class and I was given nothing but restricted coach to choose from. If I tried FC unrestricted I got the message that First Class was sold out and was given nothing but unrestricted coach to choose from.
Knowing this was nonsense I called up reservations and found out (surprise, surprise) that there were plenty of first class seats available restricted or unrestricted and made the reservation with the fee waved.
When I tried to talk to the people at USAir.com all I got from them was that if the site said there were no first class seats available it must be true and if the web site said the flights were US Air Express it must be true too. In other words the site is infallible! Ha! Ha! LOL.
Does anyone have any idea of who I could talk with to get US Air to understand what's going on? I fly them quite a bit and use their site often and this is a pain in the neck.
