TIA, rbs Caloy Jul 7, 05, 9:29 am Just wondering why you would post the same question in 2 different forums - first this one, then a minute later in the Luxury Hotel forum??? cathaana Jul 7, 05, 9:56 am I like the JW Marriott. Very cheap on Priceline. RBS Jul 7, 05, 10:15 am Just wondering why you would post the same question in 2 different forums - first this one, then a minute later in the Luxury Hotel forum??? I have to make changes very quickly and I was hoping for more answers in a short time frame as I have to change an entire itinerary. derpelikan Jul 7, 05, 10:34 am what you wanna do. if you stay with your family the sheraton might be good. as it is a resort nice for families. in case of luxury hotel the mariott seems to be fine. i prefer the hilton, as the staff is superb and i doing some promos will be in phuket next week too. dp OSLflyer Jul 8, 05, 3:00 am Next Saturday I'll stay at Hilton with my wife and our teenage daughter. cathaana Jul 8, 05, 9:21 am The Hilton is not too bad either. Especially if you are Gold. But it really depends on what you want. You should also consider doing a search. Hotels in Phuket have been discussed quite often. Australian Jul 8, 05, 9:39 am I stayed at the Thara Patong resort. I liked it very much...but that`s me. :) Check out their website, and decide for yourself. They seem to have a great deal these days. www.tharapatong.com Sandal Jul 9, 05, 12:00 pm Couple Amanpuri (not worth the price) Chedi The Evason villa Banyan spa villa (with lagoon view)(US$ X,XXX) JW Marriott Le Royal Meridien Phuket Yacht club Family Sheraton Grande Laguna The Evason JW Marriott Le Meridien Beach resort :D macintosh Jul 10, 05, 2:35 am If it is a "once in a lifetime" trip, the Amanpuri is very special. Fifty meters to the left of the Amanpuri, the Chedi is a superb value. Lovely beach, wonderful massage services, and a gorgeous, quiet setting. Both resorts are back to full operation. Enjoy! It seems you spend alot of time on the road when going to town each day. Other than that it is a beautifull hotel and we have stayed there three times. Priceline.. bgoldste Jul 18, 05, 6:48 pm Highly recomend MarriottYGPM HIGHLY RECOMEND the MARRIOTT RESORT. STAFF IS EXCELLENT, COURTEOUS AND APPRECIATIVE. MY WIFE AND I HAVE STAYED AT THE HOTEL TWICE, ONCE, JUST PRIOR TO THE TSUNAMI AND AGAIN,TWO WEEKS POST TSUNAMI. WE WILL BE RETURNING IN NOVEMBER FOR A FEW WEEKS. CRAIG SMITH IS THE GENERAL MANAGER AND IS VERY HELPFUL. |
