I used it.

Pros: it works. Cons: it can be VERY expensive.

Personally I prefer to just use T-mobile and do pay-as-you-go on all other networks.

i use it quite a bit whilst traveling, although I use it in conjunction with Telecom NZ. have used the wireless at Changi airport a few times, but otherwise generally use the dialup. Wireless seems to work fine.

Depending on the country, ipass charges can be expensive (although my employer covers it), but i think it is largely because of Telecom NZ's generally outrageous charges for just about everything (e.g., NZ$80 a month for 2mbps DSL with a 10GB limit).

Do they send one consolidated bill? If so that would actually help me since the company covers all charges.

Yes they do, you get one bill with ALL charges on it.

I use it, but company pays for it so I don't see the bill. Works great in lots of places. See earlier thread also, http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=348349

My company pays for it so I don't know the costs. We only subscribe to the dial-up service.

But it's very efficient and easy to use. I never had a problem using it in Europe, US , Asia or India. They usually offer toll free numbers and local numbers. I was told by my company to always use local number as Ipass seems to apply a surcharge when using the toll free numbers

I also see the speed (sort of speak since it's dialup...) increasing over the past years.

I use it sometimes. For our company, the ipass connection to T-Mobile costs 7 cents/minute in the US - I suspect that if you work for a bigger company, the cost might be a little less. For us, it gets charged to general overhead for my business area. If I buy a daypass, it costs $10, and I need to download a receipt at the end of the month and charge it to a specific project on an expense report, things that both annoy me and cost me time.

So I buy a daypass if I'm going to be more than three hours ($12.60), like my 5 hour misconnect at IAD a few weeks ago. But otherwise, I just use it by the minute and try to remember to disconnect/reconnect if I take a call or get up to get a soda or use the restroom.

I rarely use the ipass dialup option, only as a last resort.

My company uses it (35-40K remote access clients, global). It works.
