Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Boeing 777 on display? at HKG today

Just flying out of Hong Kong to Los Angeles... and noticed today that there is a Boeing 777 in the Boeing color with the BOEING name on the tail on displayed in parking station in the middle bay for all to see..

Anyone know why?

My understanding is that it is the "showroom" model of the 777-200LR which is on a sales tour.

And when Boeing needed a parking space, it just happened to put down at HKG??? Yeah, right. Sales tour indeed. Rather like waiving a little baggie in front of a junkie's nose!

When will CX (and SQ) buy? Let's get the performance data nailed down and start selling some aircraft.
