Asia - Which city for best New Years fireworks?

I will be going throughout asia during the winter on my rtw trip and was just wondering what city has the best fireworks display, maybe comparable to the fireworks in Sydney, AUS. While in asia, I will be in Tokyo, Kyoto, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singpore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bali. If anyone has celebrated New Years in any of these cities and seen the fireworks at New years, drop a line. I'm looking forward to a spectacular show wherever it is.

If you are talking about western New Year (31/12->1/1) then I don't think any of the Chinese cities will have anything major - certainly not Hong Kong - Asian countries celebrate the New Year under different calendars.
