Flight 93 memorial finalists go on display
Pittsburgh Tribune-Review July 1, 2005

... Public reaction is exactly what the Partners of Flight 93 is looking for in choosing the winning memorial design, said Jeff Reinbold, of the National Park Service, who serves as project manager. In addition to the park service, other partners include the families of Flight 93, the Advisory Commission and the Memorial Task Force.

"We are giving the public an opportunity to come in and learn about each design. We want everyone to contribute to this," he said. ... The panel will be considering comments that specifically address the feelings each exhibit evokes in the eye of the beholder, he said.

The exhibit opens for public viewing today at noon to 7 p.m. Regular hours will be Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. However, the exhibit will be closed July 4, Aug. 3-5, and Sept. 5.
