Asia - Christmas in Thailand - MyTravel?

We have planned to skip christmas in cold sweden and go to Thailand for two weeks. I was planning to book early on SQ from CPH to Phuket via SIN. Then use my PC points for reward nights on Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island.

A friend told me to check prices from MyTravel, a huge charter company. I got two weeks in a 3.5 star hotel including "Royal Class" tickets (almost business class) on their A332 for only $1350 per person including breakfast.

The SQ flights were more than that in Y-class without hotels.

Any other options I should check?

I've heard Phuket Air has great 2 week packages from AMS/LHR too.

Phuket Air dont run this route due to the fact the 747's they bought off KLM were falling apart and ended up being grounded.

You can go business class with China Airlines from CPH for about 8000 Danish Krone.

Mytravel is a sardine can of the first order.
