Asia - Decent hotel in downtown TPE for $3000NT total/night?

I will be moving to Taipei in about 3 weeks. Will be staying in hotel for the first few weeks until I find apt housing. Got any recommendation on decent hotel in the east Taipei district? My target is about $3000-$3500 (total)/month.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Asiaworld, its pretty ok but nothing special. They have a shopping center in the building including Starbucks, Fnac and IKEA.

We also stayed at Sunny Business Inn which was better than expected - its not a chain hotel but they have decent rooms with free highspeed internet in the rooms. The breakfast was not very impressing though. Its located only 200 meters from the Core Pacific Mall with 15 floors of shopping. Try the Fullerton Hotel 41 Taipei. It's small, but pleasant and conveniently located on Fu Shing South Road. The staff is great! If you book online, you'll get an internet rate that is within your budget.
