Made my first visit to a Fairfield Inn last night(Anahiem Hills,Ca)
I guess my impressions are mixed-ok,pretty clean,a little to "family friendly"for my taste. But I could have gotten a nearby full service Marriott(Norwalk)for $23 more, with B'fast and Bonus Buck-but I was being too cheap and I just wanted a night away from the house.
I would be Ok paying $40 on Priceline for this property-but $76 was a little steep for the quality received.

Fairfield Inn is at the bottom of Marriot's chain. They are well known for being very inconsistant. (The Fairfield Inn & Suites present no problem in value). $23 is too small an amount to have the decision the way you need even without the BB. The restaurant breakfast also of course is better then your donut and box cereal. You learned.

Depends what you're looking for. I had about 150 nights last year in a FI, and 52 so far this year. I just need a place that's safe and warm. It suits my needs just fine, and they take care of me (usually get a "suite", basket of fruit, all problems taken care of right away, etc.). I get there about 7:00 PM, asleep by 11:00 PM, up for breakfast and off to work. Rinse and repeat. Bring on the points.

BTW, what do you mean "a little too family friendly"? Kids running up and down the halls? No drunks and hookers hanging around?

Well BigLar,I,for one, think there is a lot of middle ground between rugrats practicing screaming and trampoline jumping and"drunks and hookers" :D
I trust you know adults who do not fit into those catagories ;)
