Hilton HHonors - Embassy Suites Hotel Minneapolis-Airport

Good Morning all,

Can some of the very nice people on this very informative board please give me some updated information on the Embassy Suites MSP? I am thinking on booking this location and using points. Is this location worth 25,000 per night?

Stayed at this ES last Autumn. It's an OK property with dated decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast selection was good, but the evening reception selection was weak. Very close to the airport (could take the new light rail) and close to Mall of America.

I personally wouldn't spend 25k on it, but I save up my points to use overseas where the exchange rate makes using points more advantageous.

The Hilton is directly East of the ES. I haven't stayed at the Hilton for a few years, but it is newer than the ES.

I've stayed at both the Hilton and ES near MSP. I agree with UAVirgin that it is probably not worth 25K pts. It has the typical ES layout. It boasts a bar and an ok restaurant. The breakfast in the morning is typical of ES as well. Beware that they often host wedding receptions (space for 2 seperate weddings I believe) on weekends, so you could face a loud crowd at night.

My advice... save your points.
