Hilton HHonors - Are your stays posting promptly since June 9?

My stays of June 9 and 11th are showing as e-folios in my account but the points and stay credit for them has not posted. My stays from the previous week at the same hotel posted quickly. Are your stays since June 9th posting more slowly than usual? Thanks.

Checked out on the 10th, everything got posted on the 12th, so no problems for me.

Hey Margk - my five stays from last week all showed up correctly. But the last one (Sunday) is as your described - Hotel and Efolio have posted, but no points. Assume it's a matter of time.

My last 4 stays (May and June) have not posted yet. Mine usually take forever and a day to show up.

I was actually shocked that my stay last Thursday at the ES - Las Vegas Convention Center showed up my mid Friday afternoon. Nothing of mine ever posts the next day.

My stays usually post within a day or two, however my last stay has posted with 0 points. I can't tell if they are giving me stay/night credit or not.

"Dont panic"... a quote from the Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy :D

This has been happening for quite some time now its a three stage process.
a) the e-folio shows up on your activity page within 1 or 2 days.
b) the stay posts sometimes without bonus points, miles etc.
c) ( within a few more days) everything is ok.

Now if you are in the UK dont be surprised, the HHonors program there is run by the Rail Authority. :D

Stays are still posting promptly, although all were in the US.

I have had all 6 of mine post so far this month. If it has been more then a week I just call and fax them a receipt. After a week or so I am afraid I will forget about a stay.

Took two days for this past Saturday stay to show up. Its not like I wait in anticipation, but atleast all was correct this time. Two days is average for my postings. We'll see about this coming weekend's stay.

If it doesnt show up in 5 to 7 business days E-mail or call! International properties take abit longer to post....Usually about 10 business days, but of course they can post faster!

When you email do you just mention the nights in question, since they are already in your e-folio. I believe customer service cannot open email attachments due to virus concerns.

Thanks to everyone for their response :)

I am having some issues with my miles though. They are over two weeks old at the moment. They use to post a week later to Norhtwest.

The OP was correct. My points/miles from a stay at the Hilton Dusseldorf on Jun 8-10 just posted yesterday Jun 15 (hmmmmmmm, maybe it was today). The points/miles were correct and even included an unexpected 500 point AMEX bonus. Nice!

Strange the way they posted for stays last week. A three night award stay posted properly at first for all the incidentals, then when I looked tonight, some of the points for the incidentals are gone. Then a paid stay at the same hotel still hasn't posted, yet it was the night after the award stay ended, and a one night stay at an ES a day later posted promptly and correctly.

Calling HHonors in the morning.

My last two stays have needed to be manually posted by the Diamond Desk (HGI in Dallas, and the Waldorf). Very odd. Usually need one stay a year manually posted, not two in three weeks.

Both were booked in my ordinary manner and the RSVP appeared on the HH website well before check-in date.

Mine are showing up within 2-3 days of the stay. No problems here.

Generally, my stays post three days after I check out. My miles however, can take up to three weeks to post to VS.

Stays post fine, but points on multile rooms rarely do. I always have to report it......irritating.

It's been 2 weeks since my last stay at ES and no points yet. Just went to HH website and it says it usually takes 2-3 weeks for a stay to post. Seems like my Hilton stays normally post in 2-3 days. Maybe a longer period for ES?

I have always been told that stays should post in 3-5 days at most. If they do not, I call in and have the credited to my account. If the folio has been updated on the Hilton Website then the points should be shortly after.

My points have been posting within 72 hours, so it's not been a problem for me. I have two stays this weekend, so I'll see how those post.

No problems here.

My points have been posting within 2/3 days if I stay on or through a weekend it could take 3/4 till points post.

At first I ignored this thread, having not experienced any problems. However, I am beginning to notice an increase (generally > 72 hours) in time for stays to post. I also had to request credit from HHonors for a stay that I gave an entire month to post.

I am beginning to think something has changed.

I am with the "posting normally" crowd, 90% within 3 days.

In my two dozen stays this year, only two have not posted within the normal timeframe. Both of these were Reno Hilton stays with a sub-$49 folio, which still necessitate manual credit by HHonors due to the hotel's policy of refusing HHonors credit on these rates.

None of my stays within the timeframe of June 9 to the present (11 stays total) have had delayed posting. In fact, of my three weekend stays, two (Friday night and Saturday night) have already posted to my account.

Here we go again...

Just got off the phone with the Diamond Desk about last week's Millenium Hilton stay, which did not post. Again the desk was able to manually post it, but this is getting bothersome. Three of my last four stays needed manual posting. :td:

I also had to have my Hilton New York stay from 8/8-11 posted manually and it was a real pain because my room was tax-exempt and the computer wanted to adjust for taxes that were never paid. On the other hand, my Hilton Chicago stay from 8/29 to 9/2 posted automatically on 9/4!

Craig6z (or anyone else), when you call to get your points posted automatically do you inquire as to why your points are not posting within the normal timeframe? Just curious as to what HH's response would be.
(I am sure it would be as varied as the rest of their replies would be) ;)

The Diamond Desk woman I talked to last night, could not tell me why it had not posted. She did offer her opinion that manual posting has become more common for her to do, recently.

Same here. A stay of mine at the end of August at the Millenium still has not posted.

Have posted missing stay on numerous occasions this year. Last missing stay was promptly posted soon after the 3 weeks.

However, the number of points on the summary page/award bookings page differs to the number of points on the Activities page! (The Activities page is correct and includes the number of points that were missing from the stay, whilst the summary/award bookings page does not).

Surely, the number of points on my account is held in one place on the database? Or did someone forget to update the summary page/award bookings page??? Who knows.

So...another phone call to the Diamond Desk required.

I am expecting to post another missing stay in about 10 days time.

I stayed at the Hilton Princess San Salvador over three weeks ago and the points did not post. When three weeks passed after check out, I went on line to do a manual post, and three days after that it still has not posted. As a lowly silver, who will make gold with the stays this week, can I call a help line (much the same as the Diamond posters above have done) and get this resolved? My latest stay puts me at Gold.

IN my original missing stays from June 9th, I was told by the hotel manager that Hilton never received the information transmitted by the hotel for Hhonors Members that stayed. Hilton contacted her and she had to resubmit.

Not sure if that is the same problem others might have.

Yes on the back of your silver card is the number 1-800-548-8690 for calling from the USA or Canada. If calling from other places there are different numbers. Hope this helps you.
