Hi folks. I just spent about 30 minutes searching and didn't find anything, so I would appreciate some advice on these 2 questions:
1) Can you use the PC codes with business rentals (ex. the current PC# 961041 for 300 bonus award points with a weekly rental)?? If so, how do you do that if you have to book through your corporate travel - can you just add it through calling hertz??
2) I was considering booking my first rental award and noticed there are different rates for "peak" and "non-peak". How can I tell when this time period is for a particular location - if it isn't published, can't they always just call it "peak."
thanks in advance!!
1) I use the Hertz site to book using our corporate code. The corp travel department hasn't had a problem with that in the past.
I haven't been able to combine the 300 Points PC# with our corporate CDP rate though.
2) on the page which lists the awards, there is a dense paragraph which shows the peak days for the various markets. I reformatted it below.
My Account > #1 Awards > What can I get
Black-out Dates:
Black-out dates apply during peak periods. If the desired date for the commencement of a rental falls during a peak period, the whole rental is blacked out and does not qualify for the use of a Non-Peak Free Rental Day Certificate. Hertz reserves the right to limit the number of cars available for Free Rental Day Certificate usage. Non-Peak certificates are not valid during the following peak periods at Hertz Corporate and participating licensee locations:

Discussed a few days ago (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=432019)
My current favourite for business rentals is the 2000 Bonus miles Posted Here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4051080&postcount=217). 10000 miles this thursday :D without flying a single mile.

Go online and edit the reservation then try the PC code. It may or may not work your CDP.
