Hertz - If Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness, Hertz Must Be Aetheistic...

I've rented about a dozen times in the past two months, and all of my cars, while washed on the outside, evidently have yet to see a vaccum, much less a cleaning rag, on the inside.

Stains on the upholstery, door jambs, dashboard, and carpets. Paper and other trash from previous rentals. Even on new cars, like my Avalon, with under 2000 miles on them.

Guess they're trying to turn them around faster, so they just pressure-wash the outside and grab the obvious trash (coffee cups and such), but it doesn't leave a very good impression, I must say...

Couldn't agree more! The second to last rental I had from DCA had the previous rental agreement -- with various annotations about scratches on the vehicle and a less than full tank of gas -- inside the vehicle. How could they miss that!! I've also had to get a swap for a really smelly (smoke and some rancid perfume/air cleanser) car at DCA.

Couldn't agree less.

I rent from BWI, never had any problems with cleanliness. ^ to them.

Most of my rentals have been at SEA, but I also have had "dirty" cars in TPA and GSO. I hope my Navigator at AUS looks good.
