It is time to book our Jan/Feb holiday over the chinese new year break, have got flights to Bangkok, but none of the Thailand hotels seem to have any reward inventory loaded yet - is there a set deadline by which these things should be ready ?

Frustrating, especially when spg website decides to go offline right in the middle of my daytime..

OK, so I found one hotel allowing me to book (not in BKK itself).. but can't give details away as someone will pass it on to Sean.. and this is partly a surprise ;)

I couldn't book SIN on-line for January 06 using points, when I called they said it wasn't shown as available but they would contact the hotel for me to reserve the inventory. I'm not sure what all happened behind the scenes, but I now have an entry on my *wood account showing the points were pulled for the SIN award and its listed as an award stay ... so give them a call if you want to change hotels ;)

Wow planning ahead early :) Then again at least you can cancel. On that note just checked fares ex-SFO and no change.
