Sorry for the newbie question, but does the USAIR website have a seating chart fundction like AA's, where you can see a list of all available seats and make a change? I did a search of the forum using "seating chart" and did not obtain any usable results. I have a rt flight from DCA to FLL next week, and was hoping to catch a beter seat.
Thanks,
Tim

No seating changes online - gotta call for these unfortunately.

I hate that you can't change your seat online for US Airways and United. It seems like every other airline's website has that feature.

Don't you worry, it's probably included in the NEW website, to be released anytime this decade.

You can select seats at the end of an online purchase, but you can't pick flights based on what seats are available as you can do on AA.

Well I can't speak about the seating charts, but a new website may happen soon. Click here (www.americawestvacations.com) for preview of the new format.

I was thinking along the same lines - "maybe we don't have to release the new website and hope we can use HP's".

Does anyone remember the "Good 'ol Days" and Priority Travel Works?

Why are you so convinced that US will adopt the new HP website? US has been developting/testing a new website platform over the last year or so. Some FTers report that they were invited to help test the site and provide feedback a few months ago. So what do you know that we don't?

I will usually take a look at the seat maps and available seats on Orbitz (http://www.orbitz.com) before I make a purchase on Usairways website.

Yup. That's the way to do it.

US continues to add features to its site and always puts happy articles in Attache about the new features. It's kind of like putting ornaments on a dead Christmas tree if you ask me.
