Hertz - Awesome PC Upgrade success @ MSP

I've rented twice at MSP, always reserved F with NL. First time I got the S80, yesterday, there was an Escalade waiting for me. I think it has something to do with the NL.

I probably just jinxed myself.

Actually, yes. I almost always reserve F with NL, but on recent rentals with confirmed NL I've had multiple Town Cars, a Lincoln Navigator, a Jag, and a couple Volvos. I'm PC, so maybe I'm at the top of the totem pole in terms of the domino upgrades (two years ago, before I was PC, I demanded NL after reserving F and for my sins I got planted in a Ford Windstar that I had for 3 days and 900 miles -- ugh...).

I think it is difficult to make an estimate on the chances, but I regularly had upgrades after making reservations with the Neverlost checked...

Mustang -> Lincoln LS
Taurus -> S-Type
Taurus -> Lincoln LS

Those three just because of my neverlost request and my puppy dog foreigner look because they didn't have cars in that class with the extra equipment. They even waived the fee for the NL itself in one case.

i have to agree with you overall. MSP is great when it comes to upgrades.

Between DTW,MSP,SFO,LAX and SAN , MSP has been the best experience for me as far as upgrades are concerned.

I have received (free of charge) NL in a Taurus and a Grand Marquis at SEA, so don't take it to the bank that you will get something nicer. ;)

In fact, I used to make sure all my TownCars were the "high-zoot" Ultra editions, and none of them ever came with NL. *shrug*

Reserved F with NL and tried this "trick" at CLE and found an X-Type in my spot today. ^

It might be a little too flashy though so I'll have to make sure the client never sees it even though it's not going to cost them anything extra.
