Hi,
Does anyone know what services Platinum Club, President's Circle, and Five Star offer? Also, how does someone achieve each status?
Thanks

I've noticed that, I was just wondering if there had been any recent changes in the programs being that they just put up a new website, I figured that maybe there was some redesign in these clubs to. Anyone have any experience with it since March or so?
Hertz doesn't tend to make any mid-year changes.

AFIAK, Hertz does not advertise the Platinum Club widely, so by reading the information in the archives, you'll know about as much as you can about it. Information on the other tiers can be found both in the archives and on Hertz' website.

Platinum - This program is invitation-only. It's who you are (or what you are) that gets you the invite, not your rental or spending history with Herz.
President's Circle - Earned after 40 rentals, spending $7000+, or renting an indeterminate number of days. Earns you a guaranteed one-class upgrade (with a maximum being Full Size to Premium) and 25% extra ZE1 points per rental (if you so choose). You also receive a free rental day certificate after every fifteen rentals.
Five Star - Earned after 10 rentals, spending an indeterminate amount of money, or renting an indeterminate number of days. Earns you a one-class upgrade (with a maximum being Full Size to Premium and only if available). You also receive a free rental day certificate after every fifteen rentals.

Thanks for the details. It explains why my boss, who negotiates the contracts gets an Audi, while I with many more rentals, get the Taurus.
Presidents Circle requires 40 rentals if you have a US address, 20 rentals for Canadians.

I'm also getting Free Day certs a lot more frequently than every 15 rentals.

My 2006 PC paperwork said every 15, but in 2005 I seemed to be getting them every 10...

This kind of info should be in a short sticky. (hint hint) :)

I am based in Europe , I have 5* status but I have never received a free day cert.

Is this direclty related to the CA$ to US$ exchange rate? ;) Or is Hertz feeling bad for our neighbors to the north for the lack of a Hockey season this year?

This actually is a sticky "Hertz Service Levels Explained" at the top of the Hertz page.
