This promotion seems to be valid only for US issued TC cards.

I can't figure out how this is better than a normal Charge or Credit Card? Most cards offer all this already.

Has anybody received their companion airfare voucher from the third-party company that is running that part of the promotion? I sent mine in five weeks ago and haven't heard squat (they say to give 14-20 days).

The terms and conditions give no clue as to whether the fare would be worth having. Indeed, it's left totally up to this promotion agency. For all I can determine, it could be full Y fares! Anyone have any experience with the fulfillment house, something called "Airline Promotions, Inc?"

I would be interested in this if the companion ticket T&Cs were favorable. Doesn't appear to be a good sign the NO FTers have seen the T&Cs yet, much less the actual coupon. Perhaps not enough time has passed yet but I sure would like to hear from someone with knowledge about this.

I sent in mine voucher request at the beginning of October, 2005. Haven't heard from them as well. Does anybody know how to contact API?

I called AmEx and they gave me the API's number: 1-866-241-3273. Called and talked to Lisa. She immediately found my request, and apologized for the voucher, that was lost in mail, probably due to hurracane Katrina. She couldn't extend the offer beyond Nov. 1, because they are not responsible for the mail lost by USPS. She couldn't book me and my wife any of these flights San Jose-Boston, San Jose-Pittsburgh, or San Jose-Memphis for any time in April, because prices were BELOW $379/ticket for Economy class. Read the rules. She couldn't sell a Business or First class ticket. Read the rules. I cannot wait until the last moment for prices to go up, because the tickets have to be booked more than 14 days in advance. Read the rules.
She wished me a good day and invited me to call them again....
