The KLM operated lounges can't be accessed using an Amex Platinum card.

I've tried several times and have never gotten in.
However, the KLM lounges in AMS there aren't all that great. Very crowded, not much in amenities. The closer one is slightly better in terms of layout but more crowded. Exactly the same goodies though.
