*NOTE :-

The level of death & travel accident insurance on the UK Corporate Gold Amex is HIGHER by £100,000 for death and accident than the Centurion card, if booked using that card, so don't go claiming the lower amount on the Centurion if you die :p But book on the corporate if you think you ARE going to die (on a business trip, see below) :D

BEWARE, this is ONLY for business travel, pleasure travel on the card receives LOWER benefits, don't ask! I am only passing on the info from Amex received today.

Is it the same in the US?

Just looked on US centurion site:

$1,500,000 in accidental death and dismemberment coverage at no additional cost

You get rental car theft and damage (no limit?)

baggage loss/damage/theft $1250 per bag.

Premium global assists emergency medical, legal, and financial(not sure what this would be).

It is not laid out all under "insurance". I think there is also additional insurance when you book with CTS, but I don't remember.

I have no idea what US Gold AMEX provides, but common, who would admit actually having Gold? :D I am ashamed to even type the word...

I remember this one time we all went out to dinner and this guy pulled out his gold card...it was so embarrasing.

If we are talking confessions here, then I have to admit I have had a meal with a 'Platinum' didn't realise until she got it out to pay :p but 'Gold' you can't be serious, how embarrasing :D

Back to the point, your cover seems a lot more than the UK, but then I can't get one of your cards anyway. I just like my wife to be well insured when she travel, you know what I mean, perhaps she needs the US card :D

Is the £1,500,000 for one leg or two? I've been legless a few times and the UK card has never paid out :D
