Newsstand - Yee Haw! N.C. Senate gives its final OK to higher hotel tax for NASCAR museum

The state Senate gave its final approval Monday to a temporary 2 percent increase in the Charlotte hotel room tax to help fund construction of a proposed NASCAR hall of fame.
