KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- Call it a case of airport insecurity. A 6 News investigation found open gates, no visible security guards and fences that could use a facelift at small airports in the Knoxville area.
There are several general aviation airports in the area. However, the lack of visible security had 6 News asking questions about the potential threat of a terrorist attack at two airports.
