Hi Everyone
Just wanted to know what immigration was like at jfk after my nh flt 10 out of narita.Im sitting in Business and i need to make a connection to rdu with american airlines. Is it really busy at 1045 am in the morning

Came in on April 2nd, cleared INSTANTLY and luggage was waiting....Perfect-they share terminal with BA and the BA flights don't get in to after lunch.

looking forward in getting to the curb with ease cant stand standing in line after flying for that many hrs.

usually NH is the only flight arriving at this time, so immigration is a brisk,
but if you are a non-resident, make sure you don't get behind the crowd when you deplane. about 80-90% of this flight is usually non-american and the i've heard passangers in the back of the bus getting stuck there for a long time after enhanced immigration procedures (fingerprinting/pics). premium passengers have a separate luggage claim area and bags are usually
out very quickly, so you should have no issues there as well. I'd say if you're quick, the whole process should take 15-20minutes.

I arrived on NH010 a few days ago. Arrival was delayed by about 1 hour. One BA flight apparently landed a bit earlier. Got to the immigration area by 11:35 a.m. Got through there and the customs at around 12:15 a.m. It was Sunday and only a few counters were open for non-U.S. citizens. I do not hold a U.S. passport.
