Asia - International-domestic transit in CGK

Greetings,

Two questions I'm having trouble finding the answer to: which terminals does Garuda use for its international and domestic flights at CGK, and how to transit between them? One source claimed that GA uses Terminal 2 for both, but this sounds too convenient to be true.

If my memory serves me right, its the same terminal for both international and domestic flights on GA. I remember getting out to the public area (it was like a market out there) and using the stairs (lift was too slow) to get up to the domestic departure floor.

I am travelling from UK to Semarang and will transit through Jakarta

I fly into CGK on Singapore Airways on an e-ticket and on to Semarang with Garuda with a ticket purchased separately in Indonesia but maybe an e-ticket

Will I have to collect my baggage in CGK and check in again for the domestic part or will my baggage be checked in all the way through and I go onto the transit lounge after immigration?

would be best to get confirmation from Garuda on arrival in Singapore airport?

I would guess you would have to collect your bag and check in for the GA flight. I can't see SQ being able to interline your bag for a GA flight, or GA in Chiangi being able to help.

I don't think you can check your baggage all the way through to Semarang. You will have to clear immigration and custom in Jakarta. After passport control, claim your bags and proceed to Custom. After clearing Custom, go up to the second floor to get to terminal 2F to check in with Garuda. Both Singapore and Garuda use Terminal 2.
