That doesn't make too much sense. You can't be expecting bonus points if you haven't registered for anything! Have you checked out the promo codes in the sticky of this forum?

I didn't get any from my last weekend's stay but the only one I could have gotten was the Delta 2k points one.

But since I already did get this one earlier this month, (I did reregister for it before my last stay) it didn't go through from myHIX stay last week. No biggie. I'll only worry if I don't get my 10k after my 5th night (beginning with a may 1st stay) later this month. And the 2k every other stay (starting this week).

Still, I wouldn't have minded thousands of bonus points appearing in my statement for no reason. :D

Had a stay at a Holiday Inn on April 28 but received no bonus points. I was signed up for the Delta bonus and the email bonus. I had not received either bonus previously.

Now I did this because I was unsure of my work, we were having problems at work, and they asked me to stay local, I live about 1hr from work.

I may be in that case for my upcoming stays. I merrily clicked through many of the new promo's *before* reading the text warning to register for only points or only miles awards.

I think I did that in the last round (when I finally started staying at PC hotels) but still got one of the 10k's.

Guess we'll see what happens after next week's stays when the 5&6th night ones should come through. Live and learn!

EdV, do you keep a printout of the "registration complete" page of the promos you do register for? Something I do for any frequent stay/flyer program, because it helps me keep track of what I signed up for, and can act as one item of proof of registration in case I need to contest missing points/miles. (Not that it's going to help you in your case of signing up for multiple 10K bonuses! ;) )

While I don't keep a printout of everything I register for I can see how it's a good idea to have it. However, ironically enough the promos that I should've been able to regsiter for right now are posting correctly, it's the other 10k point bonuses that aren't working!

Yes, things are definitely confusing with these multiple promos. Let's see, according to the first post on the New Promotion Codes sticky, the "Stay X nights, earn 10K promo" runs from May 1st to July 31st, and the "2K after every 2nd stay" promo runs from May 16th to Aug 31st.

And just to clarify, in general, weekend nights/stays count towards the promos, just like weekday nights/stays. But in your case, as your stay began from May 14th, these weekend nights [May 14th (Sat.) and May 15th (Sun.)] may count towards the 10K promo (which began May 1st), but they won't count towards the 2K promo, not because they are weekend nights, but because the 2K promo started from May 16th (Mon.). Of course, as your stay continues for the four following nights, I expect you would get credit for this stay as concerns the 2K promo (and which I think you did get, looking at your previous post.)

YES! I got 2x 10k bonuses from stays last weekend (they were nights 5&6). I also got one of the 2k second stay bonuses and the gold bonus.

Even though I had clicked willy nilly through all the point/miles bonus registrations, registering for the miles in addition to the points did not affect the outcome. :D

Now I did do register for the point promotions before I clicked on the ones for miles. Perhaps that makes a difference?

(*In reply to RJB below to help fill in more data for our developing algorithm: I did register for them as soon as I saw them posted on FT, and I've never rec'd any emails/snail mail from PC with the promotions).

I registered AFTER the emails went out - I held back for a few weeks even though the codes were on here. However, I won't do my 5th night for another 3 weeks so I won't be able to confirm anything until then.

I think this might have been skirted around so I'll ask specifically.

Some people (like me) may have mechanicaly gone through the original bonus thread without reading the instructions. I said I was a pilloch didn't I? So I stupidly registered for all the points bonuses and then all the miles bonuses. I wonder whether the people having the same problem did the same thing.

As an aside, others may be interested re the previous bonus and fears re IC's attitude to multiple bonuses. On one of my qualifying stays in the last bonus round the hotel posted my stay as 1 night with the total spend rather than 4 nights@eurosx. This meant I didn't trigger two 10k bonuses. I asked PChelp to change this to reflect the nights so I could get my bonus, thinking this would happen mechanicaly/automatically once they'd made the change - but instead they merely posted 22k manually. So they must have understood what I'd done. This doesn't seem to support a fear of any vendetta against people optimising. Thought I'd pass the "intelligence" on.

Let's see if a pattern falls out here. I registered for all of them beforehand and have only received my one targetted. :mad: I was also able to reregister for every promo after having gotten confirmation emails for all of them!

Well, I wasn't targetted for anything but signed up for all the points promos AFTER the first reports on here of emails being received. When I try to re-register it says 'You are already registered'. So, perhaps I am going to be OK.

I also did not receive any emails about the promos. I signed up for them after they were posted here, and I have been getting all the 10k bonuses.

I received my first 10,000 bonus for stay #5, waiting on stay #6 to be posted. I don't remember exactly when I signed up but it was within a few days of the codes being put on the board.

Well, after my debacle last week with me only getting one 10k things are much better this week. My points just posted for a stay ending this past weekend and I got 6 of the 10k bonuses, appropriate with the number of days I spent. ^ ^ Nice to see it working correctly this time. Think I'll be picking up some Bose QC2 for only 98k points, what a deal! :cool: Or not, it's so hard to use them after getting them, isn't it?

I was not 'invited' to sign-up for any of them, did so anyway via the links on the sticky, and all my 10Ks have come through, with even a night using the Amb. Free Weekend Night voucher counting !!! So all has worked GREAT for me ! Ta again everyone for posting all this, great stuff.

Doh! I got skunked on the 10k for 7th night in the promotion. My nights 5&6 posted just fine and the stay for night 7 posted correctly but the 10k...alas she is missing. And do you really think PC isn't completely aware that people are getting the mulitple 10k bonuses? Flyertalk was in the NY Time this week. I would think if they didn't know it by now, they'd have surfed over here after that.

I wouldn't have sent an email if the respones in the other posts in forum hadn't suggested that when stays were not posted, the corrections to their accounts were accomodated to plunk in those 10k bonuses.

I'm thinking PC is completely aware and happy to have a little set of people pay plenty of money to rake up points which we then use to...stay in their hotels again. :)

Q: Has Randy or the ISP checked page access logs? It's not hard to see if someone from a Priority Club domain has checked the webpages and how often. I would completely believe there is someone in Customer Service who checks reviews/boards for news on their hotels to help them spot the good and the bad in hotels, staff, programs, etc.

No matter how innocent it seems your emails are to them you are still bringing attention to yourself and the points bonuses which might impact it for the rest of us. :td: If you are that concerned about it then wait until after the promo is over (July 31st I believe). I'm not sure but I think the window of opportunity for reporting poiints discrepancy will cover you past this and thus minimize any potential flag raising on your part.

I'm glad that you are now a ICH frequenter and continue to give business to a hotel group that has served me well. ^ But please treat your newfound information with some respect - if you are going to pull information from this board that benefits you, have the decency to respect the rest of us here and play by the community rules!! :-: :-: I already have over 65 nights in ICH this year and don't intend to have my next 25 become "less inticing" for me because people are poking holes are into the bees' nest.

Well, just had my latest stay post and I am unfortunately reporting not good results! :mad: I had 6 nights at a HI, I was registered for all the promos (and have th emails to show!). :-: I was not expecting a 2k 2nd stay as it's the wrong order. But I was hoping for the 5 and 6 night stay 10k bonus as it should've been the start of a new set of bonuses for me.....but nothing. Just the stay posted correctly plus my PLT bonus.

You win some and you lose some huh? I'm just not having the best luck with this promo. I should be well north of 300k by now but "only" at 230k :D That's still pretty funny to say.

I'm finding it hard to track which exact bonuses have posted because I stay at a mix of Priceline, Rack, Airline Employee and Entertainment rates (some of which qualify for points and some of which don't) but I believe that the 10k bonuses for 5, 6, 9, 11, 12 and 15 nights have posted - meaning that 7 and 13 have gone AWOL somewhere along the road.

The 2k bonuses have been posting seemingly ok, except that they consider stays on Airline Employee rates where incidentals are incurred as ok for the "odd" stay (the one that doesn't earn the 2k) but not for the "even" stay. Nothing for Priceline stays where incidentals are incurred. No hassles with Entertainment rate.

I'll never figure out the system but as long as the points keep pouring in, I'm not going to complain! ^

Perhaps we could make it more difficult to get the codes...maybe everyone has to agree to a responsibility code (don't call, YMMV, DON'T CALL...etc) before they can see the promos...or get them PM'd to them...its not airtight, but it would help. anyone who googles Intercontinental promo codes gets sent here.

By using the hertz link, I believe things are tracked via an IATA # that is inserted to the booking form. I may be wrong however.

Well, another point post and another disappointment for me. :(

No online booking bonus, again no Delta Dash to the gate. Only 4 nights so not enough yet for me NOT to get the new 10ks either. :rolleyes:

Oh and the Hertz online booking bonus, didn't get that either as I got confirmation from PC that this is valid for 8/8 - 11/15/05. @:-) But I did start a new stay yesterday 8/8 that should qualify for the 1k from Hertz.....but MMMV HA!
