I just got the got the us plat today and in looking at luggage delay ,baggage delay and travel insurance benefits the idc card is much better. Plus you get priority pass , extra cards free and probaly invites to uk events. The only thing I don't get is neiman and saks points , who cares.
I am probably missing the us 2 for 1 program but the the uk one is not bad. If I am missing something let me know, the main thing for me is baggage delay and travel delay insurance?

IIRC you need to have a UK postal address...

It seems that some on the board were somehow able to get the card without a uk address, regardless I do have a relative with residence so no prob. In regards to the main question is the idc superior in benefits to the us plat?

The International Dollar card (IDC) is not intended for US residents.
You must be resident of Europe and Africa to get one without problem.

For the IDC Centurion, you must meet the same criteria as the UK Centurion.

My point is that the idc plat has loads more benefits for 10 bucks more than the us plat. If I have to have a uk address fine , although there have been some on the board have got to their us address. This not germany there is a lot of grey area and many loopholes.
