Hello all. First time posting in your forum so go easy :)

With what is most likely a HP/US merger upcoming it's safe to assume after a while both airlines elite programs will be looked at and one assimilated into another. That being said, how is US elite program? I've heard someone mention a greater upgrade window compared to HP for all levels, but how about mileage bonuses?

I did about 140K EQM last year on HP and with only 75K needed for HP hopefully I can enjoy some higher perks at US's 100K threshold.

I also read in one of the HP's threads from a US flier that mentioned US offers BOB boxes to F pax  Is this true? Yikes--I used to complain endlessly about HP's hotpocket!

Thanks in advance!

Benefits:

1. Upgrades - unlimited if there's room, or on full-fare Y tix.
2. Bigger seat
2a. Drinks
3. Early boarding
4. That satisfying feeling of knowing that you waste more of your life in CLT or PHL than most people.

At 140K miles you would be CP on US. CP rocks! Do a search on the CP desk. The men and women of the CP desk are great any day of the week, but really shine when the weather is crappy or the unexpected happens. That is when they take care to get you wherever you need to go.....they are empowered to do lots of things and they often call just to make sure you got on the plane. There are lots of CPs with different stories and I'm sure many will be happy to jump in here and offer their perspective.
