Hi, I am new to this forum, and I want to say hi to everyone.

I am looking to apply for the US airway credit card because the companion travel certificate deal they offer to to credit card holder. (I believe is companion travel for $99, good for two people). I was wondering if anyone knows how this work, and would anyone recommend that? Is there any blackout dates or any restriction? Can I really, for example, buy a ticket to Hawaii and get other two for only $99?

Thank you for all your help in advance.

Welcome to FT ivysun99. The companion certificates are valid for 2 companion tickets for $99 + taxes and fees with the purchase of a coach ticket over $250. IIRC the tickets must be purchased by June with travel completed by August, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong (I don't have the certificate with me now). Other rules are that all flights must be US or USX Metal and travel must be within the Continental US so Hawaii is out of the question.

Hawaii is not an option because it must be US metal and US does not fly to Hawaii. You cannot use codeshares and it is not for travel to Europe. There are some blackout dates but not many. I think it is a good value, I use it every year.
