Do anyone have any recent experiences with rentals at OGG? I have read some unfavorable comments about the condition of vehicles at Lihue.

I just rented last week at OGG. Overall, I was not impressed. While the bus driver asked if there were any Emerald members on board, (I answered yes and gave my name), he radioed ahead for the car, but we ended up waiting 20 min for our convertible to be vacuumed and washed. On the return, they had no one outside to meet us with the PDT to input and give us the CC receipt. We had to go inside to chek in. They have NO Emerald counter ar aisle there!
but their price was lowest!

Muskoka - thanks for your comments. Was your convertible in good condition? I read in separate posts that National vehicles in Lihue were dirty and in poor repair. Did you have a Sebring? I have a reservation for one next week. Agree their prices are competitive!
