Scandinavian airline SAS reported a 2.3 percent rise in April passenger traffic on Monday and repeated that overcapacity and competition meant it is cautious on the outlook for the year.

However, their systemwide loadfactor fell 2.4%. Well done.

It is really sad that when other european carriers are having capacity shortages and load factors around 80%, my favourite one is still struggling to get 60% of its planes full :( . 80% means that the carrier has price flexibility to offset fuel prices, 60% means you are still suffering with low-yield transfer pax.

How long can this go on :confused: ?
