Well, you are asking the question in a Hilton forum so dont be surprised if everyone in the forum suggests the Hilton option especially when there arent much details on what your goals are. Just comparing my experience with the link you provided.....the Club Quarters doesnt measure up.

The Millenium is in the financial district, well beyond most tourist attractions. It's very close to a subway stop. On the weekends, it's not very busy at all, so, as a HHonors Gold member, I was upgraded to a junior suite on my net-direct rate.

has anyone ever gotten a better rate at the Millenium? My rate at the other place is about 150. I'd love to get that at Hilton, but don't see it happening. If it is so dead on the weekend I wonder why their rates don't go down then. Perhaps I could call the front desk manager and ask if he can match my rate.

What rate are you seeing? The best rate I have gotten is 179 on the weekend and it is usually 179-199. I was told on my last trip there they are looking pretty busy over the summer that may cause rates to be higher this summer.

Online I see 289.

Through my corp it's less, but not 179.

I got two weekend nights in February (during the Gates) for $152.10 each.

I could do that. Perhaps I should call the manager. Though I would prefer it to be Thurs to Mon.

Oh my goodness. The rooms in the club quarters were so small!!!
After one night we decided to go elsewhere. To a Hilton. :)
