Is an old promo.... When they upgrade their site ( every Sunday ... ) the offer 500 points for calling the call center.

Sorry. Thought I had found something of interest. At least I now know to always book my reservations on Sunday.

from previous posters, i believe it involves a bit of elbow grease to actually get the points. i thought it wasn't automatic...not sure if it is now.

Here is the link... Note I have always got my 500 points. I just call into the reservation centre and they document my reservation so when stay is completed I call in to SPG and they credit within 5 days! Very worth it especially for me with over 50 stays a year!!

SPG website is down now (1:20 EST), so phone bookings get 500 SPG point bonus if requested.
