I'm planning a family reunion for the July 4th weekend (7/1-6) - I know, I know it's a little late to plan, but we're looking somewhere near the beach, like Cocoa Beach (not orlando or palm beach/miami). Needs to be family friendly since half of the attendees will be under the age of 15 and we're hoping accomodations will be about $100-120 a night per room (hoping to be suitelike). Any suggestions?

The Daytona area will be swamped with NASCAR folk that weekend (I would suggest Ormond or Flagler). I would probably look for house rentals in addition to hotel/suites. The Orlando/Kissimmee area has tons--depends on how far from the beach you want to be. Captiva area may be your ticket?

Hyatt in Bonita Springs/Estero, Coconut Rd., is a good choice. The have things to do for everyone: Golf, Boat to the Island/Beach, large pools, something like a "water park".
