Hilton HHonors - I love this board and people!!!! :)

I was just reading about CTCG and CTCH codes and thought I'd call 1-800-920-5988 to inquire about gold status. I do not travel and stay at Hiltons for business, but I do use exclusively the Hilton AM Exp and Citibank Visa for all purchases. We are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary using points accummulated through the credit cards only, and staying at the Key West Hilton Resort in May for 3 nights.

After just calling and asking about these codes and the gold status, I am able to be upgraded to gold just by having the Visa! So now instead of checking in at Key West with my silver card, I'll be showing my gold card and hopefully get a room upgrade - all benefits from only choosing the Hilton credit cards.

Thanks for those of you who informed us about the gold upgrade. All it took was having the information and a phone call. Grateful in Ohio!!! ^

If you like history, you have to go on the Truman Little White House tour. It and the Hemingway House tour were the best that my DH and I saw while we were there.

Three guaranteed great meals: Ricky's Blue Heaven for any meal, but in particular breakfast - Louie's Backyard for a romantic dinner - Camille's for any meal!

Be sure to check out Mel Fisher's museum!
If you remember, he looked for decades for the Atocha and after losing several family members hit the big time when he finally found it, only to have to fight the state who thought that Florida should get it all!
His motto was "Today's The Day"
You can see tons of gold bars, silver coins, gold chains (1 link was an ounce and they are yards long) and other cool stuff they brought up. It is my favorite place to go.

Then again every bar has music blaring into the street, and several claim Hemmingway.....
Mallory Square at sunset always has a strange gathering of wire walkers, jugglers, and street people.
