Qantas Frequent Flyer - New Lounge for NTL Airport

Hello,

I have read that NTL wants to build an airport lounge very soon. There has been some speculation that it may turn out to be a Qantas Club lounge. There is the possibility that it may turn out to be a standard airport lounge :td:.

My question is would a QP be necessary? Many flights are now operated by JQ, so I'd imagine it would be rather small?

I wish they would axe the JQ flights from BNE to NTL and put the 712 back in QFLink colours ^

Well I am hoping for a lounge as it would make for a nice route back from SYD to BNE via NTL or vv.

Boo ! Hiss ! Boo ! Definately leave my 712 as a QF flight ! Anything over 40 minutes, IMHO should be in QF colours

Well, now that BEO has closed (IIRC), then NTL will be busier. Many SYD-based workers live in NTL and commute. None of them were happy (particularly the Plat members) when the majority of flights were changed to JQ - just ask shillard, who was one of those affected. I would think that there would be sufficient for a QP (I would think NTL is bigger than TSV, so might deserve one).

A QP would be nice as I have to do a day trip to NTL from BNE before 30 June, so I'll make sure that I fly BNE/SYD/NTL (and hoping I can find suitable QF SYD/NTL flights to use). Refuse to fly JQ (unless I fly on the ones that now give SC's)...
