StarG Apr 28, 05, 2:42 am They've got to stop coming out with new models with little improvements each time! Big holes in my pocket. Just less than one month after I bought myself a 6680, now they launch these... Always Flyin Apr 28, 05, 4:52 am Yeah, well, that's great. But I'm still waiting for the 6021 to actually hit the stores, and it was announced many months ago. StarG Apr 28, 05, 7:04 am Yeah, well, that's great. But I'm still waiting for the 6021 to actually hit the stores, and it was announced many months ago. I actually bought the twin, 6020, returned it the next day to the store. Plasticky, video playback is slower than its audio. :td: Although it is very small and light. ^ UAVirgin Apr 28, 05, 7:58 am Is the N91 "little improvements?" I think a 4gb hard drive on a Nokia phone is a big improvement. Have they done that before? I suspect it'll be a year before we actually see them in the states. xyzzy Apr 28, 05, 8:39 am I actually bought the twin, 6020, returned it the next day to the store. Aside from the video/audio player (which I'd never use) how was the phone? Yeah the 6020 has a camera but doesn't have Bluetooth, which I think 6021 has. The phone operates similarly to 6230, but with better build quality (although still a bit too plasticky for my taste). The weight is a big plus, because it felt very light. The 6020 is marketed as 6100 replacement here. Is the N91 "little improvements?" I think a 4gb hard drive on a Nokia phone is a big improvement. Have they done that before? I suspect it'll be a year before we actually see them in the states. Of course the N91 is not a 'little improvement'. :) Looks like it is worth checking out. But I hate those little buttons inside the slide. "Little improvements": I was talking about N70, over 6680, over 6630, over 6670. UAVirgin Apr 28, 05, 10:34 am The WSJ has an article (http://online.wsj.com/article/0,,SB111462022403018448-email,00.html) today (subsription required but this link might work for a week). Says the price of the N91 before any subsidies will be $908. That's pretty steep, even for the new functionality. JohnnyP Apr 28, 05, 11:10 am I'm personally excited about the Nokia 8800. Boraxo Apr 28, 05, 6:42 pm could care less about music, cameras, etc. on my phone - don't need to be draining the battery with this crap or pay extra fees just to send a photo. but why can't sprint get a decent lineup of bluetooth phones? i simply refuse to shell out $400 for a Treo 650. maybe it's time to switch to T-Mobile during the next promo... chichow Apr 29, 05, 4:25 am cuz your USA CDMA. You'll have much more options with a GSM carrier. pseudoswede Apr 29, 05, 11:48 am cuz your USA CDMA. You'll have much more options with a GSM carrier. There are very few new GSM phones that don't have a camera. In particular, clamshell phones with an external caller ID screen. I love my Samsung E105, but finding a new phone with those qualities and no camera is almost nil.
