Hey all

Please accept my apologies if this has already been posted, I just joined the forum and am in the process of going through the Air NZ posts, but I have a question about the Pacific Class seating.

I'm travelling in November (I know, ages away, but I can barely contain my excitement) MEL-AKL-LAX and back, and I noticed on the Air NZ website it's got a picture of the Pacific Class seat with the footrest. Being a tall guy, I've already requested exit rows for all flights, but I was wondering if the footrest is for all Pacific Class, or just Pac. Premium? Seeing as I'm flying on NZ5&6 I'm sure the chance of even getting a refitted 744 is unlikely as it is, I'm just keen to find out what sort of comfort I'll be afforded!

Cheers guys,

Liam0s

LiamOs welcome to FT.

If you are in the old Pacific Class seating you will be in one of the most comfortable economy seats available and with the most leg room. IIRC all the seats have the leg rests.
If you are an a/c that has been retrofitted you will have PTV as well.

Enjoy.

Cheers Taupo :)

Being just shy of 2m tall, leg room on MEL-AKL-LAX-BOS in one fell swoop is a pretty big concern!

Really excited to be travelling with NZ for the first time, last Int'l flight was 11 years ago on BA when they were still flying out of BNE!

Not all seats in (old) Pacific Class have leg rests, the left most seat by the exits have the leg rest removed to accomodate the emergency slides. Think its rows 18 and 35.

Good to hear mate, I'm supposed to have 35C and 31C on my travels, so it's aisle all the way for me :D So very excited about the trip, and it's still months away.
