Hilton HHonors - Doubletree Hotel Denver Report

I just stayed at this property over the weekend and must say it was a great experience. It is located across from the old Stapleton Airport site and always has great rates when I am in town on business or visiting relatives.

As a Gold I received an amazing upgrade to a huge suite and found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful, including thanking me for my return visit and delivering cold bottled water to the room after I checked in. I skipped the comp breakfast on this trip but remember it to be pretty decent in the past.

I just stayed there last week ... it was NOT as thrilling as the former poster said. They were booked up, so no upgrade. Did get free breakfast buffet (which was okay). The building was OLD ... after all, this is the former airport hotel for Stapleton. The rooms were very, very small. No wireless Internet (they charge a fee for using the ethernet).

I'd stay somewhere else next time.
