MilesBuzz! - What do we want from an airline website?

Doesn't the quality and scope of airline websites vary greatly from airline to airline.

I sometimes get frustrated when a piece of information that I expect from an airline isn't available on their website.

What should we expect on every site?

My wish list would include:

a full time table

a route map

pictures of the seats (indivudually and not just an interior shot of the aircraft) in each class so we can get an idea about how comfortable it is likely to be

Any other ideas?

2. ability to view/change seat assignments
3. immediate posting of miles
4. ability to bookmark (are you listening AA?)
5. immediate posting of miles
6. ability to process upgrades
7. immediate posting of miles

I would like:
- ability to see and reserve all available award seats for any chosen flight.

BTW, 330cic, can't you do all of your "wish list" already on the Delta website?

Would I would like to see:

1) Ability to change routings
2) Ability to scan in a boarding pass and have an immediate recognition (for missed miles)
3) Ability to book different flights in different classes of service (a la UAL connection or easysabre).
4) Ability to "choose" connection city without having to imput it in as a stop.


What I already appreciate:

1) The fact that the sites exist are a gift to all travelers.
2) The fact that I can be creative in my routings without having to go through an agent.
3) Being able to choose seats
4) Being able to access FF account.
5) Being able to sign up for promotions

My wish list? That the website would work when I try to access it!!!
