Ha, you beat me to post the information while I researched the fare and availability. Here's my original post:

Haven't tried all the permutations and dates, but West Coast (SAN, LAX, SFO, SEA) fares range from $299+ (NGO) to $479 (SIN). East Coast (BOS, JFK, IAD) range from $349+ (NGO) to $529+ (SIN).

HNL even has East Coast fare pricing.

Ticketing period: 4/19/05 – 4/22/05
Travel period:
Outbound 4/25/05 - 5/2/05
Return 5/3/05 - 5/10/05

I tried a lot of quick turnarounds from SFO and a it seems like either an outbound or return wasn't available. Some great deals from all over the US if you can fit them into your schedule.

Just a few comments:

* Wasn't able to find any availability to NGO from SEA, on any of the offered days.
* These fares show up doing a normal search (so you can get the 1000 bonus miles).
* Book into K class; $150 change fee (not possible to buy up to a higher fare without penalty if your travel plans change).

I was unlucky... I have a mileage run on May 2/3 which is not worth canceling. Well, sometimes you win sometimes you lose :D .

Availability to Japan seems to be minimal to nonexistent from most US cities. SIN is slightly more available, but seats won't last.

Using regular flight search, I tried RDU-SIN outbound May 2, return May 4 and it returned a fare of 1550.48. But under additional flight options, it shows RDU-NRT and return for 534.12; books in K class. But how did it know I really wanted to go to NRT, not SIN? :D

22678 BIS and 47602 MP miles. $623.13 All in.

This should be good with the double miles from SFO - NGO promotion. At $374 all in, this is too good to pass up. Since we haven't been to Kyoto, we aren't doing a real MR, but we're off to Nagoya/Kyoto next week for 5 nights ... Thanks again to FlyerTalk for a great deal!
