US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-2005 America West merger) - points.com transfers, trips to space are probably history

For those of you who had enough CP carryover to get shot into space, or those who were thinking about a points.com transfer to make it happen--you are probably out of luck.

US Airways still has all the links to these programs in the Dividend Miles section ... for now.

I'd like to know how many redemptions they actually had with Space Adventures. Anyone here get one?

Just checked yesterday and found that ransfers out of US are no longer allowed at points.com.

They never have been, unless you are a Dividend Miles Visa cardholder. The new points.com website doesn't explain that very well.

I just used the chat function to speak with a points.com agent. I still have an outstanding issue with them from the double miles promo that I hope will be resolved before the partnership is over. He indicated that at this time, points can still be transferred into Dividend Miles, but should that cease to be the case, I can expect a full refund of my membership fees.


Cedric: basically, i am worried that i will not be able to transfer
the phonehog points into that account before the partnership is
officially finished. and since this is something that has been a
consistent probelm for several months, i am hoping that in the event
that us airways leaves the program before the issue is resolved, my
points.com membership fee will be refunded
