With the annoucement of BOS as a focus city, and the expansion of JFK service, I got the strong impression that B6 was "moving on" from building-up IAD service. It was a good place to start when they first came about, but with the increase in low-fare competition there I could see why B6 would leave IAD for others... like Flyi.
So, to read in the Q&A that B6 still "has Dulles" was a big upper! I'd love to see IAD-BUR service... but I won't hold my breath.
If B6 expands IAD with the 190's, I think they can sink Flyi.

They probably could, but I seriously doubt they would waste time and resources killing and airline that all the majors are sinking their own resources into trying to kill. Let's say DH dissapears due to B6 expansion. The other majors would then try to undercut B6 at Dulles the same way they did with DH. I'd love for B6 to become more active at Dulles, but there are plenty of markets ex-IAD that need low cost competition that DH doesn't serve that would love for JetBlue to arrive. In the airline world, just as in the real world, the enemy of your enemy can be a good friend, and I would imagine it would be the same with JetBlue and FlyI.

FLYI hurting themselves on their own. They don't need jetblue to speed up the process.

Just for fun, how about if DH goes CH11, B6 buys their assets out of BK and has a great base for routes...thats if its cheap...not a horrid idea...if DH goes 11...which I hope it doesn't.
