He talked for like 4 minutes about his experience on jetBlue, of course he made some jokes about the "no-frills" part of it, but did mention how nice the planes were, the people, how cheap it is and that the technology on their planes are amazing.

On his flight, he didnt realize that you can get WNBC's Live Feed from New York. While he was on the plane his show was airing and then noticed all the Pax looking at him and laughing with his jokes. He said it was kid of odd, but loved the flight.

At the end of the story he said "why go on a coporate jet, fly jetBlue its better"

It's these kind of things that has made jetblue so popular. Ordinary people are advertising for Jetblue without even knowing it.

Exactly--yet posters on all the legacy boards still don't understand this concept. They have built a brand and more than just brand loyalty.

I mean, the CEO Q&A today was such a great read--very frank, open discussions about new plans and their overall product and service experience. I really hope Jetblue's PR staff are some of the highest paid in the industry. They deserve it.

And what's even more amazing is that many JetBlue flyers don't even check the prices of other airlines when they fly..

I have a trip planned to FLL later this summer that is much less $$$ on USAirways than JetBlue.

Can't believe that flyers have been conned in to thinking that JetBlue is always the lowest fare. Couldn't be further from the truth.

JetBlue fliers haven't been "conned" into thinking JetBlue always has the best prices -- that distinction goes to Southwest passengers . I and many others fly JetBlue because its prices are generally low, always fair, and the experience is typically better than flying on legacy carriers. Most jetblue staff are cool, even kind, the seats are comfortable, especially if you don't get stuck in a middle seat or in the first 10 rows (more legroom in rows 11-20). Though I have 100k+ miles on UA, I find I fly jetblue when I can because I enjoy it more. And I can't even cash in my UA miles for flights I want (at saver rates) so what's the point of trying to accumulate more?

Its not all about fares though...thats the point. service and IFE are huge. You couldnt PAY ME to fly US Air anymore---they are the laughingstock of the airline industry.

We haven't been "conned" at all. I, for one, fly them not only for price, but for service. I'd rather give my money to them rather then the people at American.

I fly them before I enjoy the "jetBlue Experience" and apparently, a lot of other people do too.

The concept of service hasn't even been mentioned at the majors in years. I have never had a problem with Jetblue at all. And I am not alone, because they seem to have a cult in the NY Metropolitan area. And before we say how they give us nothing but cookies, I flew Continental from EWR to PBI and got a bag of pretzels about the size of my palm.
